    This has always been my mantra and now I have a face to put with it. I do Get Fit By Friday --- Fawn Friday!!! Love it!! I have had personal trainers in previous years and had been without for two years. I missed it and knew that I needed someone to motivate me and who would hold me accountable. Fawn does all of that and then some. She can keep a close eye on all of her students and give direction and motivation. She is well versed in her art and instills in us the same passion that she has. She also gives us advice on our eating habits and ideas for changes we can make. I can't imagine not doing Kettle Bells with Fawn!! It's a workout unlike anything I have ever done before and I have seen results in a very short period of time. Thanks, Fawn!

    Fawn is truly inspirational. Extremely knowledgeable of fitness and anatomy. I feel she goes above and beyond just teaching a class. She will help and guide you in fitness and/or nutrition. Helping to try to keep you focused and on track.... whatever your goal maybe. Love her class!! Upbeat and challenging. She has improved my form and my strength is increasing. She is a powerful package and makes me want to stride to be better and achieve my goal.     I know Fawn as my friend. A year later since I've known her, I attended her class in late June of 2008. Her class setting was very intense and in good sense mean. Those Renegade Row and standing up(with kettlebells) killed me(and I am an RKC instructor as well).

    I saw a moment where she taught her student, or rather suggested her best solution possible. She was both emotional and caring. Never pushes people to the edge, but lifts up to their best.

    I believe she's a good student of powerlifting, ambitious about Z-Health, and knows what to eat nutrition wise. She has a knack of both improving and evolving every single day.

    Fawn is a great instructor and trainer. She is very knowledgeable and offers great fitness advice. She has gotten me into kettlebells and I love them! She knows just want to say to encourage me when I think I can't do something and really works with you to perfect your form. My endurance is much better too. I never thought I would be able to swing the bell 40 times!! Try her out, you won't regret it!

    I starting training with Fawn in December and she is fantastic. She challenges me to reach my limits but never makes me feel incapable. She has a way of making everyone in class feel comfortable no matter what level they are at and always points out options so that we don't hurt ourselves. "There is enough pain in the world already." She is one fun trainer with lots and lots of knowlege pertaining to the human body. She's strong, beautiful and brainy!

    Fawn is the best! She really motivates you to push yourself and work hard, but she also maintains an approach that considers the whole person, mentally and physically. She's the kind of teacher you want to make proud of you! She's taught me so much about strength training, the body, and kettlebells, along with Z health training that has become invaluable. She's motivated me to go from an unsure beginner to a strong kettlebeller, and to stick with it. Through her training, I've moved comfortably from the gym to a home practice, and now I wish I could shrink her down to pocket size and take her with me! Everyone should have a pocket Fawn.

    I have been a client of Fawn's for over three months on kettlebells. She is a great personal trainer and kettlebell instructor. She is knowledgeable of many different kettlebell exercises. The combination of different exercises and perfecting my form allows me to keep my interest in this challenging exercise. I have noticed a huge difference in my physical fitness once I added kettlebells into my workout routine. I have more energy, strength and overall physical endurance than just traditional weight lifting and cardio exercise. I would recommend Fawn for anyone interested in increasing there fitness level. Fawn has got me hooked on kettlebells.

    Yes, Fawn is my wife, but she is also a great trainer. After she completed the RKC, she got me started with kettlebells. With her precise instructions, I was able to hit the ground running, training in a productive but safe manner, and I took to it immediately. At the beginning, swinging the 24kg kettlebell was hard for me. Six months later, I'm pressing the 32kg overhead for reps. I haven't looked back, don't intend to, and I have Fawn to thank for it. The RKC method is superb, and Fawn is an exceptional trainer who has mastered the style and will show you how to do it right. If you want to be strong and fit, hook up with Fawn, and she'll make sure you're on the right path.

    After only 5 months of practice, I competed in the Tactical Strength Challenge where I represented myself respectably against elite athletes across the USA and beyond. If not for Fawn's influence and training, I would not have dreamed of stepping up to this challenge, especially since I have not competed in anything for the last 20+ years. Fawn also competed, which is more than most trainers will do, and finished in the top 3 out of 23 very fit women. She walks the walk.

    The kettlebells are part of my daily routine these days, but Fawn has even more to offer, should you need it. She is a qualified and dedicated yoga instructor, with over a decade of practice behind her and regular classes that she teaches. She is also an NSCA-certified personal trainer who can teach you how to leap-frog over the achievements of other gym members by mastering whole-body barbell lifts that others avoid to their detriment. You will be stronger, healthier and more confident, guaranteed.

    If that weren't enough, she's also an expert on nutrition and cooking. You want to know how to make healthy food taste good? Consult with Fawn. I've been eating her cooking for the last 6 years and have not had as much as a cold. Organic and from-scratch is the mantra in our home, and it's all due to Fawn. This is the way to live ~ strong, lean and organic. Don't settle for less. You don't need to.

    Absolutely the Best

    I've been taking yoga and kettlebells from Fawn for about 2 years now - and had 5-6 instructors before her. Fawn is absolutely the best.     Friday is awesome!

    Fawn is a great instructor and motivator! After months of going to the gym and not really seeing any results I decided to try kettlebells. I have attended Fawn's class for 2 weeks and have lost 12 pounds already and you see the difference in my body! Her class gives you a real workout but she keeps it fun also, I actually look forward to class! I would recommend her to anyone who wants to see a real change in themselves!

    The best workout with the best instructor!!

    I never have really enjoyed working out, in fact I pretty much hated it - but then I was introduced to kettlebells with Fawn... I'm addicted! I love it! Fawn is an awesome instructor! She is super helpful and knowledgeable. Her positive attitude is the best! Like after twenty minutes of cardio she still manages to put smiles on my face :-) With Fawn's help, I've lost over ten pounds - I'm the best shape of my life! I'm stronger than I've ever been. Fawn really knows her stuff and is always there to answer questions. I'd recommended her classes to anyone in any kind of shape. Fawn's amazing!

    I have just recently returned to Fawns class after an absence of 3 months. I instantly see the difference in the people in the class.. With Fawns training, everybody has become stronger and leaner. I have a lot of catching up to do.

    Balancing Life and Work can be hard. It can be difficult to motivate yourself to get exercise after a hard day at work. Traffic, bad weather, tired etc, But then you get to Fawns class. She is always cheerful and positive. She knows everybody by name, and you feel that she is there to help you achieve your fitness goals. She is not one of those trainers who stands at the top of the class, and instructs. You will learn from Fawn by doing. She gives it 100% every class herself. I have brought numerous people to her class, and everybody has come away amazed at how much Fawn knows about fitness and nutrition.
    I am very thankful to my friends for introducing me to Fawn and Kettlebells.

    Fawn is a great instructor. Have fun trying to keep up with her in class. She is a machine! She has a wonderful teaching style. I have been instructed in Kettlebells by numerous instructors and really enjoy Fawn's approach. So much so, I introduced several of my friends from another kettlebell class and they have now joined Fawn's class. Fawn integrates Z Health drills into our warmup and yoga movements into our cool down. It is a nice blend. I highly recommend Fawn as an instructor.

    I've been working with Fawn for a year and I highly recommend her as a class instructor and a private trainer. Although I had been using kettlebells for over a year before I started attending Fawn's classes, I felt like I had "plateaued" in my progression with kettlebell exercises. Fawn found the right balance between making corrections in my form and just letting me rip through the drills. As a result, my kettlebell movements have become more precise and much more powerful.

    Fawn also provided me with a very reasonably priced 30 minute private training for help with my functional mobility, and that has helped me to maintain and increase my flexibility both in and out of kettlebell classes. The strength, flexibility, and overall healthfulness I have obtained as a result of Fawn's leadership lead me to recommend her classes and training for beginners and experienced kettlebellers. Give Fawn a shot!

  • I can Kettlebell at 60 with rotator cuff and ACL injuries

    Summary: I both started training with kettlebells and I first started training with Fawn Friday, on Sept 13, 2008.
    This past Saturday May 16, 2009 I took my first private lesson from Fawn. One day later I am still deeply impressed by her expertise and understanding of how muscles work and how to retrain muscles to make up for damaged systems. So today, while I am still warmly marveling at her anatomical scholarship, I am going to write my first review about Fawn Friday, RKC Instructor Extraordinaire. My main points are that old joint injuries do not preclude one from starting to Kettlebell; Fawn Friday knows how to teach Kettlebells effectively; and she knows how to enable one to work around existing joint injury problems. End Summary
    I saw one of Fawn Fridays Kettlebell training flyers in her home base gym located in Little Canada, MN in the summer of 2008. I then learned on this website that Fawn was a certified RKC Instructor. I introduced myself to Fawn by email and after getting encouragement from her to come to a class, I started training with Russian Kettlebells on Sept 13, 2008 at her home base in Little Canada. Fawn Friday is still my instructor but now I train with her at a gym in downtown Saint Paul. I am 60, with a three year old rotator cuff injury and and a very ancient ACL knee injury. Neither has been treated by surgery. The ACL does not retard my KB training at all. The rotator cuff injury is still a limiting factor for one arm in the KB Press and Clean and Press but there are so many other exercises in the panoply of kettlebell training that these two become relatively insignificant in relation to all the others great KB exercises. In addition I am slowly training other muscles to make up for weak systems and may one day be able to single press with both arms at the same weight again!. I took my first private lesson from Fawn this past Friday and learned a lot in that one information packed hour on what I can do to work muscle groups more efficiently, even the healthy ones! I have not been the most diligent KB student but I made a life commitment to embrace kettlebelling for health for life. I like the total body training aspect of KB exercises. So many large muscle groups in the body exercised at once! I embrace this opportunity for total body training. The recreational sport I enjoy most is rowing. I find that is totally complemented by KB training. I currently sweep rowing for recreation on the Mississippi in St. Paul.
    Let me close by giving to all of you my wholehearted recommendation for Fawn Friday as my Trainer of Choice for all ages and all physical conditions!!!
